Hi All,

So, I thought I was being super healthy in my food choice when I decided to have pineapple for 3 cu dinner..About 3 slices of them, which comes up to roughly 3 cups when diced. It was really filling and I felt good cause I decided to eat fruit over Chinese take away. Once done with dinner, when I logged in food in the diary, I was SHOCKED. That dinner had close to 600 calories and it made me overshoot my sugar limit by 30 points. Come on really? Fruit can be nasty? At the risk of sounding totally ignorant, are such fruits detrimental to weightloss?

Damn! At 600 calories, I might as well have had my fried rice...:(

Are you sure you truly ate three cups worth? Think of a two cup measuring cup. Could you fill that plus another half with the amount of pineapple you ate, all diced up? Not cubed, diced.

Stick with berries, they tend to have lower carbs and higher in fiber plus the antioxidants are good for you. I love pineapples and I almost keeled over when I saw the carb count:noway: . Good luck
