Trying to find a hotel
I'm heading to Kansas City for a Royals Game, and as usual my friends and I wait until the last minute to find a hotel room. Anyone have a superb suggestion on a website (other than priceline) to locate a good - medium prices ($100) room. There must be something going on in town this weekend because all the rooms appear to be booked.

Try http://www.betterbidding.com/ . The only drawback is you don't know which hotel but its a damn good deal!!0

When we went to Hawaii we used hotels.com. Sometimes though it may be cheaper to call a few hotels directly that are near where you are going and see if they can give you a special. Hubby works for an airline and we fly a lot and there is a website just for travel industry employees that has discounts on hotels, cars etc and when we called to get a hotel in Hawaii it ended up being hotels.com. So travel personnel consider it a top choice which is a plus in my book.0
