I could really use some help!

I feel like I've been very strict with my diet and exercise for almost two months now, however I've only lost 4.5 lbs. I started this journey eating 1200 calories a day, I saw no weight loss at all and after reading the forums I realized my body was in starvation mode. I then adjusted my goals which bumped my calories up to 1450. I've been here for awhile and haven't seen any change on the scale. A friend on MFP told me I was eating too much, so now I'm really confused. I use a scale with my food, I exercise 6 days a week, I use a heart rate monitor for accurate calories burned, I eat a lot of fruits/veggies and I enter everything into my diary. I guess I have a couple questions. 1. How many calories should I eat? 2. Should I eat back my exercise calories? I usually eat some of them back but not all of them.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Are you already in the normal range? I would be inclined to see a doctor because there could be something stopping you.
