Help with calorie intake please!!

im 28 5'1 and 112 lbs lost 33lbs so far now i have the belly fat to bust off!! it has me at around 1200 a day. im making myself at 900. to loose a lb a week, i work out 5-6 times a day for an hour, is this a bad decision..making myself eat more to force food in me seemes wrong or will it go into starvation mode?? any help is appreciated!!

    At your weight, you really don't have much weight to lose - it sounds as though what you really need to be doing is building stronger muscles so you look leaner and feel better.

    I suggest that you go back and change your goals to "lose 1/2 pound a week" or "maintenance" and eat all these calories.
    Get some strength training into your routine.

    Try these two things for a month and see how your measurements change - don't focus on scale weight, focus on size.

    1120 minimum (your weight x10) to lose, 1440 to maintain (your weight x12)... altho they say no one should be under 1200 and I am certainly not a doctor!

    You may not be eating enough. I read studies that conclude your BMR will increase as you increase both your exercise and calorie intake. It is counter intuitive, but maybe you need to eat more - just make sure it is good food.

    5' 1 - 112lbs ain't bad...maybe 12 more lbs is just too much.
