Confused on how many calories I should take in per day

So I came across some blogs talking about TDEE & BMR and stuff like that.
I thought I was doing fine, burning off everything I ate (e.g. eat 1200 cals/day and burn that much off as well with cardio) but I read that I'm supposed to eat back some of the calories?
Can somebody help me?
I'm 5'2, 135 pounds. Lightly Active? (Spend about 2 hours at the gym at least 3 times a week) and would like to lose 2 pounds per week. How much should I be taking in and eating back?

You need a net of 1200 cal/day to lose 1 lb. a week (that's intake + outake overall)
I'm assuming to lose 2 lbs. a week, you need a net of 600 cal/day0
