Homemade turkey burgers & protein pancakes

Hi all,

I posted this on the recipes board but no luck with responses. Can anyone help me with recipes for homemade low carb turkey burgers and protein pancakes please?



i have done a search and the best i have found so far for turkey burgers is:

500g lean turkey mince
3 tablespoons oat bran
2 egg whites
stock cube
crushed chilli

and protein pancakes:

Mix 30g oats with 3 egg white and 1 egg, 1 tablespoon cottage cheese and cook as an omelette on the hob?!

and add banana or berries with maybe some agave nectar yummmmmmy!!!

    All American Turkey Burgers

    Recipe Ingredients:
    1 pound ground turkey
    1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 stalk celery, finely chopped
    1 teaspoon dried thyme
    1 tablespoon low-carbohydrate barbecue sauce, home made or purchased
    1 teaspoon hot sauce
    2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    3 slices American cheese (optional)

    Recipe Directions
    Preheat electric tabletop grill.

    Simply combine all ingredients and form the mixture into three burgers. Toss them onto the grill and cook for five minutes or so, and serve. Top with slice of American cheese, if desired.

    Nutrition information per serving: Yield: 3 servings
    The carb count will vary a bit depending on what barbecue sauce you use, but should be around 4 grams of carbs and 1 gram of fiber, for a total of 3 grams of usable carbs and 27 grams of protein.

    Low Carb Protein Pancakes

    Makes about 10 pancakes.

    Ingredients

    8 oz Cream Cheese
    3 eggs
    1/4 cup Soy or Wheat Protein Isolate (almond flour will also be ok)
    1/4 cup Butter Milk
    3 teaspoons splenda
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Instructions
    Mix cream cheese until smooth
    Now add your 3 eggs into the cream cheese
    Now simply add the rest of the ingredients and mix together
    Leave to sit for 5 minutes
    Heat your frying pan
    Add the mixture – voila!

    There are around 1.6 carbs per pancake in this recipe.
