hydration belt

I bought a Nathan hydration belt with one bottle that sits on the small of my back, which I can tolerate, but I wonder if there is something better out there. What do other people use? Any suggestions? I tried a hand-held, but I had difficulty with it...felt uncomfortable, I kept switching hands.

  • Have you ever tried a camel back?

Are you using it to just do a general work out or are you biking or another out door sport?

    Yes this.

I tried the handheld one. I just couldn't get comfortable
I tried the one with the one water bottle in the small of my back - I think it just didn't fit me appropriately because it moved too much
Currently I have a fuel belt with 3 small water bottles for my long runs. It's ok. But I think I am going to try a camel back.

All that to say that you really just are going to have to play around and see which one works for you.

My husband does a lot of snowmobiling. He never goes with out his camel back. I have used it in the past...the spread the weight out of the water more and to me they are more comfortable.

I'm using it only for running. In the summer months I have to have water, especially because my runs are consistently going over an hour. I have never tried a camel back...thanks for the tip!

For long runs, I use the one that has three bottles on each side. I like to have a combination of water and gatorade.
