So I did more strength training and core circuits this week and was rewarded with a gain! Everytime I do weight or strength training I gain like .2-.5 lbs! WTF! I am two workouts away from turning into a strictly CardioNut! I can't take the gains. They normally stick for a week to a week and 1/2. Anyone else notice a gain after strength training?

Here is a link to an article that I found very interesting. Explains why you are seeing the weight gain. Hang in there!!!

That's pretty common, though it should level off if you do strength training consistently (3 days per week or thereabouts). Your body retains more water to repair the muscle tissue after lifting. You'll also lose less muscle tissue while dieting, which will slow down the loss of "weight" somewhat, even though you're still getting rid of fat.
Don't get too hung up on what the scale says. It's all about burning the fat, and you can track that by taking your measurements in addition to stepping on the scale.0
