Ughhh 1 pound in the last week

So I am just finishing week 2 of body revolution, which I LOVE btw... but I've only lost 1 pound in the last week. Now I only have about 15 pounds to lose and I know that's tough... and I've taken Jillian's recommendation of keeping a 500 calorie deficit. But you know... I was hoping for a little more than this. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I've lost and not gained or stayed the same but still...
** Sorry lack of coffee.... lost 1 pound in the last 2 weeks... i wouldn't be complaining so much about 1 pound in 1 week

1 lb in 1 week is ideal, and if you only have 15 pounds to lose, it's actually better than a lot of people would expect! Well done!
ETA: just seen your edit, but still... honestly 1 pound in 1 week is not bad at all for someone with not a lot to lose. Unfortunately it will take a bit longer than someone who has a lot more to lose. (Remember intense exercise makes you retain water too, so that could always be masking further loss!)0 -
I am not familiar with your program but I know when I do really intense workouts for long periods it stalls my loss until I take a couple days off and let my muscles and body rest and let go of some water. You may still see more come, remember it's not magic so be patient and you'll be to your goal in no time.0

Even one pound in 2 weeks is great, with only 15lbs to lose total you should aim to lose .5 a week and even then it gets a bit difficult to do that the closer you are to your goal. So instead of looking at is as you "only" lost one pound, look at it as "omg, I lost one pound! That's one pound gone that I don't have to worry about!". Celebrate the victory0

Give it time, I have been doing this for almost 3 months and have lost 12 lbs, but it you are doing a lot of exercise it can take time for your body do adjust to that, I have read on these message boards, it can take 3 weeks for the body to adjust to a change.
1 lb is great, it was a loss and that is a step in the right direction...hey it took me almost a month to finally lose 1.5 pounds, I was in a plateau but just decided not to give up...you will do it0 -
Thanks guys... I know I'm being a little whiney. Really appreciate all the encouragement!0

Are you taking measurements, too? I'm doing 30 Day Shred, I'm almost 2 weeks in and I've only lost a couple pounds, BUT I've lost like 8 inches. So, yeah Just keep with it!0

A negative is a Plus+. Slow and steady does a body good :-)0

So going back to this measurements thing (which I keep forgetting to do but will do it tomorrow!) I've read lots of posts about people not losing a lot of pounds but losing lots of inches - I get that it's probably (??) from building muscle. So I'm assuming eventually your body catches up to itself and the pounds start to come off too?? Thoughts?0

Only One Pound
Hello, do you know me?
If you don't, you should. I'm a pound of fat,
And I'm the HAPPIEST pound of fat that you would ever want to meet.
Want to know why?
It's because no one ever wants to lose me;
I'm ONLY ONE POUND, just a pound!
Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds, or fifteen pounds, but never only one.
So I just stick around and happily keep you fat.
Then I add to myself, ever so slyly, so that you never seem to notice it.
That is, until I've grown to ten, twenty, thirty or even more pounds in weight.
Yes, it's fun being ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT, left to do as I please.
So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying, "Oh, I only lost one pound."
For you see, if you do this, you'll encourage others to keep me around because they'll think I'm not worth losing.
And, I love being around you - your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you.
Happy Days!!!
After all, I'm ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT!!!
