So I weighed and measured myself this morning and I lost inches overall, except in my thighs.

Everywhere else - arms, waist, hips, bust - all had a decrease, but my thighs increased by 2 inches each! How is that possible?

Yup. Also, is it absurdly hot where you are? Various body parts of mine swell in the heat...adds inches. But not "real" inches, if that makes sense.

Are you sure you are measuring the exact same spot? Even an inch or two higher would make up for a 2 inch increase. Keep doing what you are doing and don't give up! Obviously you are doing it right if you are losing inches.

Ah....ok! Well that's for that info ladies. That definitely makes sense.

Because yes, it IS really hot here and I've been working out outdoors some days. I didn't even think about heat swelling, but yeah. Totally makes sense now.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's also hard to get an accurate measurement (for me anyway) because placement of the tape measure can change. I wouldn't sweat it. You are losing overall, celebrate!

I THOUGHT I was! Maybe that's something I should check too. Like measure up from my knee so I get the same exact spot every time. Good thinking

doggiesnot....true! And I am definitely enjoying the loss. Just thought it was weird. But you're right. No need to focus on one weird thing when everything else is moving in the right direction
