I am a college student, 5'9, 177lbs. The thing is, I do not really eat all that much. Also I do not use actual diet plans. At this age my weight and looks are very important to me. Any suggestions?

Your self confidence should come from within. :flowerforyou:

That said, I actually lost a lot of weight in college while watching most of my friends gain weight. That upward trend doesn't have to happen if you watch what you eat and drink, and how much of it.

Come up with some specific goals. Do you want to become more athletic? Lose a certain # of inches? Body recomposition? Maintain your current level of fitness? Just eat healthier? Then form a plan that sets out mini-goals on a timeline.

College life presents a lot of opportunity to become less healthy--drinking, drugs, and cafeteria food. But on the flipside, you can take advantage of opportunities to get healthier--free gyms, lots of walking on campus with a heavy bookbag, joining clubs/intramural teams, healthy salad bar options. You don't have to give in to the peer pressure to get drunk every weekend. That way you save calories and learn to think for yourself rather than allowing others to influence your decisions.
