Daily MFP Sugar Goal?

I just discovered the option to add sugar and sodium to my food log, and MFP has my daily sugar intake set to 24. I eat a good amount of fruit and yesterday between pineapple, watermelon, and various other foods I hit around 74. That's a lot over. What are the possible repercussions of going over this set goal for weight loss and do you have any suggestions for reaching such a low sugar goal?

I don't pay one bit of attention to that! If I have a decent amount of fruit and veg for the day I'm way over, but my carbs (on a typical day, not all of course) are in a good range (I aim for 30%). I, personally, don't put any stock in that 24g per sugar a day goal!
I also question how it would be possible to get the recommended fiber per day yet stay under that 24g of sugar goal. Unless you take a supplement, I don't see how it would be possible.0 -
I also eat a lot of fruit between smoothies and snacks. I have been losing just fine while going over their recommended amount of sugar.0
