Exercise diary?

I have been having trouble deciding what to search when putting in the exercise diary. For instance I got my lovely kettlebell which is strength, agility, cardio, and balance....so how would I mark that? I also do Zumba when needing some cardio for fun. I know when I just do strength I'm able to put in strength training.

I tend to follow Marianne's workouts on kettlebells on her myomytv.com site. Yet, like I said I don't know how to put it in my exercise diary to see what cals were burned.

Does anyone have a suggestion for that and Zumba? For Zumba I used the dance (aerobic modern twist ballet) because I didn't have a clue.

I would do Zumba as dance.

Kettlebells - I created my own exercise and put them in as burning 20 cal/minute like the studies say, or I have seen people log them as circuit training. Good luck!

For Zumba there is a ZumbaCalories.com website that can help you calculate calories. It bases it on your weight, the amount of time and the intensity of it. I have no idea if it's truly accurate as I do not have a HRM.

That's what I did, but I lowered their estimate for a class by 200 calories as I thought it was quite high (they had a low 60 minute class as 814 for me, I entered it as 600 in MFP). Then I entered it in MFP as one of my exercises.

It turns out that MFP adjusted the calorie burn for that exercise when I lost weight. So now I don't have to go in and manually adjust it. Which is nice.

I've been taking a class that combines different types of cardio & strength in each 60 minute session. I logged that as circuit training.
