Did your body shape change?

Is it even possible? I lost 22 pounds since January. Before I started my weight loss journey, I remember plugging in my bust, waist, and hip measurements into numerous online body shape calculators (I had a lot of time on my hands... ) and since I carried a lot of weight in my lower body, I, to no surprise, was deemed a pear shape. But after losing this weight, I've noticed that I don't look like I carry a ton of weight everywhere. Some of those curves have disappeared. I plugged in my new measurements and every site deemed me an hourglass figure, which is weird because I'd consider my bust to be smaller/average.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Congratulations on your weight loss! What a wonderful accomplishment! :flowerforyou:
I've definitely seen the same kind of change happen in a lot of my family and friends during their weight loss journeys. I chalk it up to hormone balance and how the body is programmed to store weight. Stress, in particular, will contribute to a larger middle. Glucose and sugar overconsumption often leads to a larger bottom half.
It's really interesting.. as we diet and lose weight, the body dramatically changes. Good luck and hope you're enjoying your new shape! :happy:0 -
