Cramps to the point of tears -- help

Day 5 of Insanity, and every time i do something like mountain climbers or high kicks (or whatever they're called) I get an extremely painful cramp in only my left side. I try to push through it but it starts to hurt worse and worse and i have to hold back tears. During water breaks i don't chug my water, so i don't see how too much water could cause it. I eat like an 1.5-2 hours before the workout. I'm also confused as to why I only develop a cramp on the left side of my body. Kinda freakin' me out. Any answers would be greatly appreciated! :)

    Side cramps are, more often than not, due to improper breathing. Make sure you are breathing in through your nose and out through you mouth, and make sure you are not holding your breath.

    Ah thank you. I will try and focus more on that during my work out today and see how it goes.
