Jodie Marsh 'Cheat Meal'

not sure if this is in the right board....

if anyone saw the Jodie Marsh Brawn in the USA programme, what did you think of her cheat meals?

they explained it as a way of kickstarting her meabolism, after eating low fat, low carb, high protein all week, she was allowed to eat whatever she wanted as much as she wanted for one meal.

there must be somethin in this? has anyone else tried this?

The fact that it's Jodie marsh would put me off straight away, the worst advert for a diet ever, she look awful!

'She looks awful' is highly subjective - she's competing as a bodybuilder in physique I believe, so muscle definition is her main aim.

Anyway, leptin, ghrelin and glycogen are your keywords :)

I have a whole weekly "Free Day" where I eat whatever I want.
    It shocks the body's metabolism.
Lost 75 lbs doing this - LOVE IT!

Im a big fan off the cheat meal (every Sunday evening for me) I find it helps my weightloss compared to just eating a static amount of calories everyday.

Right, Jodie Marsh looks like a Barbie Doll inflated with helium and baked in an oven. People like that giving health advice make my skin crawl.
    But is she right?
In this case, yes. We can't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I dont know Jodie so cant say if I like her or not...

I think her dedication to what she is doing is amazing though, really throwing herself into it and working really hard....

ANYHOO, it would seem this cheat meal thing has legs then. I have plateaued for so long now, think it might be what I need! is it literally as it sounds, whatever you want?!

Im already thinking of what I will eat lol *salivating*

Just don't go drinking a bottle of olive oil or ordering a seven course meal at McD's and you should be good.
