hello,
I went on a 7 day fast. of course I lost weight but now have gain back & more. I like to fast not just to loose weight, but for spirtiual reasons, How do I keep my metabolism is check during and after to keep weight regular. Now I going on a 1200 calorie diet with exercise. I hope that will help.
Does anyone have more advice.

Some professional athletes fast over a couple days to lose weight but can keep it off because of the calorie defecits they put up. For normal people it doesn't work. Hold your self accountable and if you give in, just don't let it be huge like a box of donuts- one donut never killed anyone.0

I agree with the former post. You also may want to fasting to find some guides to doing a spiritual fast. When you end your fast add small amounts calories every couple of days. It may help you to do low carb diet as you begin adding in foods :flowerforyou:0
