Under active Thyroid problems

Hiya i have a friend who wants to lose weight but she has a under active thyroid, she can manage to lose weight for around 8 weeks then puts it all back on again anyone know what she could possibly do about this, any suggestions from ppl that may know or have the same would be appreciated.

    I'm not really sure, but she might want to see her doctor about that, I think there is medication that helps boost the thyroid. Since it's a medical condition, she might want to see a dietician as well.

    Shes been on meds for 3 years but she has alot wrong with her aswell as this problem, its ok i got a pm from someone giving some advice who has the exact same problem as my friend and i just called and told her what this lady told me, but thanks anyway Sorcha xx
