Positivity for us FAT GIRLS!

As a FAT girl, I get the dirty looks and the critisicm when I'm out an about. It starts with the"Why are you ordering that (look)?" at the resteraunt, and the Honey you don't belong in this side of the clothing store look. I came to MFP and found some amazing supportive friends. I've been working my *kitten* of at the gym and eating right, and frankly feeling fantastic.

Today I read a post that I found kind of negative and it really got to me. (For just a brief moment) I won't name the post as I'm not one to call someone out. I will say it takes so much courage to put yourself on line admitting you're a FAT girl and have people judge you for your exercise routines and the way you eat.

Admitting your issues is the biggest and hardest 1st step of the battle, and having negative comments thrown at you is enough to make some of the FAT girls give up.

Please think about the hurtful words you use before you post them or say them to someone in real life. Your positivity and words of encouragement can push that FAT girl... to become a FIT girl.

So to all of us FAT girls working hard, sweating your a$$es off at the gym, turning down the candy bar..... KUDOS! to making the first step in what will be the longest hardest journey of our lives. YOU ARE ALL WORTH IT!
