Starting over . . . again

I see the pattern. I lose 20 pounds and stop! I go back to my old habits and gain it back. Everytime I eat well and excercise the weight comes off, but I just stop. When am I going to break this cycle?

    Maybe you could try looking at it from a different angle? Dont think about losing weight and dieting. Just concentrate on making healthy choices, and eat mindfully. Be aware of when you are physically hungry and when you are full. Take each day at a time, and be organised about your meals ( so that you never reach the point when you feel like you are starving. Enjoy your food, feel no guilt, and be positive!

    Maybe lose weight a little slower this time so it's less of a shock to your system? Also, are you depriving yourself of what you love? That sabatoges a lot of folks.

    If you don't know about substitutes, you might want to find out. For me substitutes have saved my diet many times over.
