I currently only monitor calories, etc, as my work and school schedule does not permit for regular exercise. However, I'm interested in starting to get exercise in on a limited basis, but I want to be able to ACCURATELY report my calories - I think the estimates on MFP cannot be accurate for every single person.

While I do plan to start running (and training for 10ks and half marathons) eventually, that's a few years away. As is the time for real strength training with weights. So I guess right now I don't need a super serious HRM. I'll probably just be doing some walking and other light exercises.

I was looking at a Polar FT 60 and a Polar FT40, but they are over $100. I don't mind paying for a quality product that will last a long time, and mostly I want an accurate representation of calories, and not just one that will OVERREPORT calories burned. Any recs?
