Looking to lose around 10 pounds

I opened this account a while back, but I don't think I was really ready to get started. Now I feel like I am. I weighed in at the doctor's office two days ago and realized I had gained several pounds. I'm not overweight, but my philosophy is that you should never let just a few pounds slide; otherwise, you'll let those pounds slide, then a few more, then a few more, until one day you wake up and you've gained a whole person. I want to lose five to fifteen pounds--not sure yet exactly what my goal is. If you can help me stay motivated, I will really appreciate it and I hope I can do the same for you.
