This is the CRAZIEST thing I've ever heard- and am planning on trying this SOON-

ANYONE else had this- or feeling as daring as I?

You'll have to let us know if it was worth the time, effort and calories involved!

I've had creamed chicken over waffles before, and that was good, but this just seems way too time and effort intensive!

I've never had chicken stuffed waffles, but I have had Fried Chicken and Waffles at a restaurant here in Tucson. They are served bones and all (photo 1), but you have to tear all the chicken off, add maple syrup and hot sauce. It was good. Not something I would get often.

It sounded okay until I got to this...

"Serve the chicken on top of the waffles and pour the gravy over the top. Drizzle with some maple syrup and serve with Fiery Fieri Hot Sauce on the side. "

drizzle the chicken and waffles (made with chicken and onions in the batter) with MAPLE SYRUP?

    Now THAT sounds gross.

PLEASE tell me that's not icecream next to the chicken?
(either way, I'm going to have to file this in the "only in America (thankfully)" category.

I'm guessing it's a scoop of whipped butter

Chicken and waffles is a pretty big southern thing. Some say it originated in Memphis Tennessee. But others say that it was a favorite among the Pennsylvania Dutch before it became popular in the south. :)
