Only way to have firm thighs without being really skinny is to turn that thigh fat into muscle.
Possibly try lunges? http://www.muscleandstrength.com/exercises/dumbbell-lunge.html

Try Pilates. Have a look on YouTube and check out the legs on the ladies that do it. Super toned without being bulky.0

You should do lunges, jumping lunges, squats, and Pilates. You'll need to lose body far but building muscle will help with the jiggly appearance.0

My thighs have always been bigger and I was a small pear shape before losing weight. Now my thighs have slimmed down and I'm an hourglass shape! Some great at-home exercises for thighs are lunges, squats, and wall-sits!0

Thanks everyone... I will try to do a mix of all and see what works me out the best...0

lunges and squats are a great place to start. There are a million variations on each. Try to do lunges in all directions. Squats: go low, hold them longer, or try pile or sumo squats.
They will make a difference. Once you master the form, add some weights.0 -
