Small victory!

Okay, so I started myfitnesspal two weeks ago. I used to be little and now I am just plain big. I have weighed 160lbs for the past two years now and I have been disgusted with myself. Today I weighed myself. 155lbs!!!! I lost 5 whole pounds in two weeks. I have not seen the scale dip below 160 in so long I had to weigh myself three times just to be sure it wasn't an error. This totally made my week. Now I just have to be good and keep at it. My treat today was a sub from subway but I was good and got lots of veggies and got fat free honey mustard instead of mayo. That and a pepsi were my treat. But I still worked out over my daily 30 minutes. I decided that even though I ran and did pilates this morning, I would take the dog and baby for a walk which burned some more calories. Sorry, I am rambling but this is a small victory for me and motivation for me to keep up with this diet.

Try getting away from treating yourself with food. I like clothing and movies. It will help you keep up on the healthier lifestyle. :happy:0 -
i second the opinion that using food as a "treat" for doing well on the exercise and weight loss can, if you are not careful, sabotage the good that you are doing, and it will make it harder to get in a healthy routine.
With that said, I see nothing wrong with having a subway sandwich occasionally, especially when you make good choices on the types/sauces/etc... it is more about the mental state about it being a treat or reward... food rewards can be dangerous.
