I have a 4 month old son and though he's not exclusively breast-fed I was hoping to continue to feed him about 1/2 of his daily feedings and not completely wean him.

How do I factor that into the weightloss equation?

Add it as an exercise. 500 calories a day is recommended for full time feeding. Adjust the calories based on how much you are actually breast feeding.
  • I typed in "breast-feeding" in the excercise but it came up empty.
How would I add it in?
I imagine if it's 500 calories burned for someone that is Bfing full-time that mine is probably burning much less at maybe 200-250. So do I just add that extra 250 into my daily amount?

Press "Enter and exercise not listed" link next to the field where you typed it in. After that it will be in your list so you can add it each day. 200-250 sounds reasonable. Doing it this way it will add the right amount of protein, fats, carbs.... to your diet too. Not just calories.

    Hope this helps.
