What is your heaviest weight?

At age 27 I weighed 263 pounds. A year later I was at 178. I had had my gallbladder removed and when I was told that without attacks to curb my eating I would get SUPER FAT AND DIE, so I tried to eat ultra low fat (less that 10% of calories from fat) and that lead to vegetarianism and I lost 85 pounds in a year.
However, I did very little exercising and when I decided 2 years or so later that I could eat some fish which turned into chicken breast and fish, which turned into STEAK AND BACON MORE STEAK. I put it back.
At age 34 I weighed 241 pounds. My wife and I went on SouthBeach. It's not low carb, It's low glycemic-index and if you eat low-glycemic carbs you can have plenty. So we traded 100% whole wheat bread for while, %100 Whole Wheat Pastry flour for all-purpose. Steel cut oats for instant oatmeal and Chicken Breast and Sirloin/Strip steak for Drumsticks and Prime Rib. I got down to 164 pounds at my lightest.
We still follow most of the tenants South Beach, its good for your blood sugar/ cholesterol etc. but I few very stressful years caused us to also stress eat and make bad choices. As a result I got up to 241 again at the end of last year.
It's not happening again. I want to live to dance at my 9 month old daughter's wedding.
To lose now, I'm exercising.. hitting the weight machines, ellipticals, and running. I feel great I'm fitting back into my old clothes and while I'm eating healthy, if I make a less than ideal choice, I'll make up for it at the gym.0 -

current weight 125-130 (back and forth, back and forth)
I alternate walking and jogging in 1-2 minute intervals, I want to be able to just run but it is a work in progress. I LOVE the rowing machine. I HATE the stairmaster, which means I need to spend more time on there. I increase my time a minute each week. Each time I feel like I am going to die
I have been taking Body Pump classes 3x a week but am wanting to start the Jamie Eason Live Fit program but am scared to go to the "guy side" of the gym.
Must find my Big Girl Panties, can't remember where I put them....
Hitch those "big girl panties up" and show them how its done! LOL You can do it! Go at an odd time of the day and tell one of the reps in the gym to help you out.0 -

Hi Everyone, I am just doing a thread to see about having more friend's around the same weight as me or were, helping each other with tips, fitness and diet information, and I would like to start a group on here of walking and circuit training which will also include challenges
My Highest was on May 16th 2012 and that was 285 and I have lost 27 lbs.
I have a walking group on another site but MFP has steared me away from that site
The group will have weekly and monthly winners of different fitness and food challenges.
If you are interested in going please email me in my inbox.
