Hello,
I've just started my weight loss journey this month and I don't want to be doing the wrong things for my body. I feel like after reading a bunch of board topics I am so befuddled with this contradicting information! Some people say they eat a LOT of calories and some people say they only eat 1200 and some people succeed here and others succeed there. I feel like I'm sitting in the middle of the street not knowing which direction to take!

I weigh at about 266 pounds. I have been TRYING to eat below 1500 calories everyday though it's still the beginning and I am not perfect. I hit the gym 5-6 days a week for an hour of walking and some cardio. Honestly, I haven't lost that much weight yet and I worry that *maybe* it's because I've got the calorie equation wrong. I went on the site that calculates your TDEE and it says 2356! Isn't that WAY too much!? I am super confused! Any help? Suggestions? Thanks!
