I am writing today to see if anyone out there has recently or in the past lost the motivation to stay on track despite NOT liking what you see in the mirror? How did you get it back?? I'm home alone for weeks at a time as my husband is still a truck driver. I was doing fine tracking everything well but for whatever reason the past few weeks I have lost the motivation to do much of anything including tracking properly or walking on the treadmill in the next room. I do manage to go to a dance class 1 hour 3 days a week. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I really have no one near me to buddy up with or I would try that.
Thanks

my husband works out of town also. although, he has had work in town for the past 3 weeks, which actually makes it harder for me to stay on track! we're total opposites that way, lol. for me its all down to routine. you might have to force yourself at first, but just commit to it for even one week and it will get easier and easier to continue on in that routine. for myself, as soon as i get my son on the bus in the morning i pack up the wee one and head to the gym. she goes into daycare ther e and i go bust my butt in whatever 930 class is offered that day. mornings are the best time for me becaue i juts like to knock it out and get it all outta the way before lunch, then if im lucky, i can catch a little nap with my lil girl before my boy is home from school. now, that being said, school is out on the 28th of this month! i dont know how this will affect my routine, but i do know its gonna throw a major wrench in it for a little while. thankfully both my kids actually enjoy the day care there and actually ask to go! lol
so after all that blabbing....my answer is force yourself into a routine. eventually it wont feel like so much work! ....i dont know what the scenery is like where you live, but maybe you can just get outside for a little walk after breakfast?
