I got alot of different veggies today and some steam bags. Example. One small potato on the bag is 110 calories. Here it says like 12 calories. 1 carrot on the bag is 30 calories,,,,you get the pic. Should I go by the bag or here?

I always go by the bag, the calories posted on MFP are all over the place!
  • Thanks. That is what I was thinking also.

I would go by the bag too, also, do you weigh your food? If you do , and you're not sure what to put (like sm potato or med potato), find an entry with grams for the serving size so you have a correct calorie count.

Most things listed on here is very very very inaccurate. It is very frustrating!!! Use the bag!!!

I use the bag too... Also I weigh everything as it makes a big difference. Weighing is the way to go.
  • I haven't been weighing my food. How do you all measure your food? On a scale? In a measuring cup?

I use both, liquids are easier in a measuring cup, but scales are better for everything else, you can get them pretty cheap at Walmart, the one I have has a toggle button to go from oz to kg.
