I'm getting bored of my usual chicken / smoked salmon salad or vegetable soup. I can go to Tescos at lunch and then have use of a microwave and toaster. I like to to use around 400 calories. Anyone got any suggestions??

Same here! I pack up a salad overnight and have it with a Jacket potato

How about a Jacket Potato-with a small microwave pot of baked beans on top? or a tin of tuna on top of it? homemade veg soup?

Morrisons do a really nice soup which is cheddar cheese, leek and bacon. Sounds really calorific but it's not! I sometimes have cottage cheese, oatcakes and apple (maybe a bit boring but I like it). Subway sandwiches are quite good for calories I had a turkey and ham with all the salad, no cheese 6" at the weekend for 287 cal which I thought was pretty good. Pasta or rice salad made at home is also a good filling option or those microwavable frozen jacket potatoes!

Tesco express have quite a good lunch range and quite a few bits (not the sandwiches) that come in under 400kcals

When I had access to a kitchen at work, I used to make double for dinner and heat it up the next day. Can't beat a proper home-cooked meal for satisfaction!

Oat cakes and a mini pot of hummus and some raw veggies.

Greek salad - take in a lunchbox

Half a tin of chickpeas (or cannellini beans), tuna and onion salad.
