At Home Trainers

I have been looking into Personal Trainers (as I seriously lack motivation at the gym at the moment) and stumbled across personal Trainers who come to your house.

Has anyone done this? or know how expensive they may be?

I was thinking about maybe dropping the gym membership (which I hate) and doing this instead.

One of the girls where i train does that - she trains in the gym, but she also goes and does "in calls" and trains people at their house, or in a park, and she even has a studio set up in her apartment where folks can do private one-on-one sessions.

I guess it depends on the type of training you are doing. You can do a lot with body weight, bands, medicine balls. But if you want to use machines or lots of heavy weights, you would need to go where that stuff is located.

I have mats, balls, light dumb bells, a bench, a treadmill and even 3 commercial machines in my workout room, but i still go to my trainer at the gym because there is so much more that i can do there.

    Thanks for the info. :)

Do you know how much she charges for a session? I was thinking about using the 'at home service' as the surely with the 'in gym' service, you have to pay for the gym membership ontop of the personal trainer costs?
