Anyone else have tennis elbow?

Does anyone have any good arm exercises that will not interefere with pain from tennis elbow? It seems to be getting worse and I am trying to lay off doing anything that will hurt it more. Are there any exercises that will help with this pain?

And do any of you know of any supplements that will aid in tendon health? I already take a women's one a day vitamin.

This problem is not new to me. Though I'm only 36, I have the early stages of arthritis in my wrists and have already had a cortisone shot in one wrist to help deal with this.

I iced it down each nite which seemed to help a lot.

No. It turned out mine was from lifting weights incorrectly. It hurt for about a month before I figured out what caused it.

It was about 10 days once I corrected my moves and iced it down. I did it 2-3 x a day because I work from home.

About 10 days for it to heal

You could try some glucosamine with chondroitin it will help with promoting flexibility and range of motion and also helps to rejuvenate cartlage. i have arthritis in all of my joints in my body and that sure has helped me. Now for the tennis elbow, you can ice it down every night and try putting some ben gay on the area that hurts. You can also see if your local drug store has a band that you would wear right below your elbow that is suppose to help when it hurts

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I'll definitely check out glucosamine. It's just tough because I know I have pain because I've been waitressing for 15 years and every time I pick something up at work, I can feel it! It's not so much when I'm doing regluar day to day things...mostly at work. But that's what I do, that's what I'm good at and how I make my living. So I need to find a way to either fix it or grit my teeth and bear it. I'd prefer to fix it.

I do and I'm on celebrex for the inflamation. My tennis elbow is exasperated by carpal tunnel. Some exercises to help with it are forearm curls (use a very light weight and just curl your wrists) and/or take a towel and spread it out over the table, put a weight or a can of beans on the opposite end and using your fingers, pull the towel and can of beans toward you.
