Nike APP- Happy!!!

I wanted to share a really cool APP with everyone. Most of you fitness junkies probably already know about it but it was so exciting for me to learn about it (from my 21 year old step son of course) that I needed to shout it from the roof tops!

It is called Nike Fitness.

it is free on iphone and it is AMAZING. It is like having your own personal trainer on your smartphone...and the workouts are SERIOUS! Picture an entire cross fit workout in the palm of your hand that you can do anywhere. I am a mother of a 3 year old and my husband travels a great deal so ALL of my workouts have to be done at home. This is a great tool for those that would love to get to a gym but cant.


After my usual cardio workout I gave it a shot this morning. I chose the "Get Focused" section which are 15 minute target area workouts - and then chose the Ab Burner. I thought I was going to die because you never realize how long 15 minutes really is - but I finished it! Once you complete a workout you get rewarded and are able to unlock more workouts on the app.

I had heard about the Nike Running app which I thought was very cool (for runners). I just never knew this fitness app existed.
I just shared it with one of my co-workers who is a cross fit-ter - and she LOVED IT and couldnt believe she didnt know this app existed.

I know I am going to enjoy working out with this app and I hope you all can as well.

I have the Nike running app, I didnt know about this ! I will get checking into it right now !

When I first got my iphone, that is one of the earlier apps I downloaded, about 3 weeks in I realized "hmmmmm, it's odd that all the example videos are women...but hey, I'm not complaining right?" Then about 2 weeks later I realized it was an app for women, but by this point I had gotten my *kitten* kicked so many times by it who cares? haha

I'm so jealous. I don't think they have this for droid phones. I know I looked into the running one awhile ago.

the running app is amazing. i downloaded the fitness app a long time ago and didn't use it as i thought it was a med specifically for women, but this is just the way the app is branded..the exercises are KILLER and everyone can benefit from this app. it's free, and got to be worth a download

I don't see Nike Fitness app but i do see Nike Training Club app. I assume they are the same???
