Cinnamon Swirl bread
One of my favorite junk foods is Pillsbury Cinnamon Swirl bread. I just love it, and also, my Mom used to make it for me each time I went back to college after Christmas break, spring break, or even after just being home for the weekend. I just absolutely love it (and I love that fact that my Mom always made it for me... it was kind of our *thing* ). My Mom passed away a few years ago, and I haven't had it since. I made it the other day with healthy substitutions (egg beaters and applesauce) but even that way, it's still higher in calories than I'd like. Anyone know of something similar that's lower in calories? Ideally, something whole wheat!

I found this one just now...not sure if it's any good or if the nutritional info is any better than the ones you had before: http://www.fitness.com/recipes/83/low_fat_cinnamon_rolls.php
This one is from the Mayo Clinic and looks to be less cal, fat and carb: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/healthy-recipes/NU004920 -

Sorry.....I have a bad habit of skimming over words. Didn't realize you said "bread" and not "rolls" or "buns". hahaha. Sorry!0

A low fat, low calorie version would be a Slice of Sara lee 45 calorie bread...toast it...then spread a half teaspoon of light butter and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top! Its so yummy!! Not exactly a cinnamon roll but just as good!
