Hi All!
I work in a corporate setting where when it's your birthday, you bring in snacks. My birthday is right around the corner and I really need your help with coming up with healthy snacks that won't be the typical cookies, oversized cupcakes, etc.

Oooo that sounds good. So fruit would be Watermelon, cantelope, pineapple, honeydew and then blueberries. Recipe for the vanilla dip?0 -
I have brought in fruit/cake dish.
You mix different berries :
strawberries/blueberries/raspberries
Angel food cake
about 1 tbsp of Trop 50 OJ to soak the angel food cake
package of sugar free vanilla pudding
lite cool whip
chop up all the berries
cube the angel food cake about 1" and pour the oj on top
cook the pudding according to the directions
then layer--cake-pudding-fruit
until your out
once you serve top with whipped cream0 -
Maybe do that devil's food/pumpkin muffins with cool whip free? They taste AWESOME and NO one will believe they're low fat!0

Fruit plate with cool whip (the tub) or yogurt for dipping. Can always do the fruit plate with scoop of ice cream or frozen yogurt, yum. You still have the Sweet without all the guilt.0

A hedgehog - skewer cocktail sticks with cubes of cheese, pineapple chunks, baby tomatoes, grapes, pieces of ham, pickles, etc, and then insert the sticks into a grapefruit so that it looks like a spiky cactus!0

This sounds really good! One thing though: A lot of people don't like artificial sweeteners and sugar free products, so take that into consideration when making food with those types of ingredients. At the very least, let people know in case they don't like it, so they won't take it. I've had that happen before, and either had to choke it down or throw it out (and felt really bad about not enjoying their hard work).0 -
Some really yummy party snacks would be:
Fruit Kabaobs - Any of your fave fruits cubed up and on fun party skewers with a really yummy yogurt type dip can be really nice.
Rice Krispie Treats - I know but if you use low fat butter and cut the squares into smaller portions they can still be fat and calorie friendly
Yogurt Covered Pretzels or Raisins - Sweet and Salt and don't break the bank calorie wise lol
Baked Veggie Chips - Slice up some of your favorite root-type vegetables and roast em with a bit of olive oil and top with something like sea salt when they're hot out of the oven, super yummy!
Apple Slices with Honey for Dipping
aaaaaaaaaand finally if you're any good at baking you could perhaps tackle some tasty muffins like banana, pumpkin, corn, or zucchini.
Man, now I'm hungry lol0
