Can weight loss help PCOS?

Not sure what to post this under, but I hope someone can help me.
I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year and a half ago. I weight 150 pounds at the time (I'm only 5 ft tall), and they never told me whether or not the PCOS was caused by my weight.
My current weight is 128 pounds, so I've lost 22 pounds and about 15% of my body weight.
Can losing weight reverse PCOS or cause it to become less severe?
Thanks!

losing weight along with medication can help amazingly. it helps regulate your hormones as well as helps reduce PCO's.0

It can help, yes. It doesn't always, but it can (losing weight does nothing for mine LOL).0
