poor kids!
No excuse in her situation, feeding your family healthy can be hard but she's unemployed so she has plenty time, and if she can afford to feed them mcdonalds every day she can afford to feed them home cooked food.
It's just pure laziness and unwillingness to change, not a lack of education, time or resources...
