    I find growling unappealing, but I'm a veterinary student so if I hear a growl I'm looking for the aggressive animal who wants to kill me.

    Fearing for my life is kinda a turn off. :wink:

    Confession time: I growl. And not just while weightlifting. Usually when the waitress tries to take a plate that I'm still working on. Growling is fun!
    However, a big sweaty stranger growling at the gym? Not gonna do a thing for me. My big sweaty man, hell yeah, but not one I don't know.

    I dont think I have ever heard anyone growl while lifting, but it is humorous to read this and look at your profile pic. at the same time. hehehe.
    I think in the right setting growling could be sexy. :wink: Not so sure about at the gym.

    I'll tell you all what my last girlfriend told me.

    An unintentional growl at any point where it would seem appropriate (exertion, frustration, anger, even jealousy) made her weak in the knees.

    If it seemed in any way contrived however...she would swat my nose with a newspaper and put me in the kennel.

    Hey...we work for it!!...and a little shallowness can be sexy. It shows a sense of self worth and confidence...which are both straight hot.
