I'm just curious to how I can stay on a healthy weight scale as a vegetarian. My weight fluctuates a fair bit and I'm finding it a bit difficult to maintain what is classed as "healthy" for a person of my height (I'm 5ft 8inch)

The same way anyone else would. Eating meat or not isn't relevant to maintaining a steady weight. Track your food accurately with MFP, weighing and measuring if you need to. Get some regular exercise, watch your sodium intake, and eat a variety of healthy foods. Eventually you'll attain a normal healthy weight and stay in that range.

I've been a vegetarian or vegan for 30 years, and the only thing that's caused me to gain weight is eating too much.

And good luck. Eating a healthy vegetarian diet really isn't hard, we just don't do it sometimes.

Another veggie reporting in. I gained weight due to alcohol, it's where a large amount of my calories were coming from. Use the mfp diary to track calorie consumption.
