... you eat your dinner really really (really) late?
here's what happened -
i had a little snack around 5, and went to the gym. ran for an hour and a half (this is not unusual for me) came home, started cooking dinner around 7:30. drank a half a glass of wine (fairly unusual but not really) while cooking and by the time dinner was done (8:30) i was totally nauseous, so much so that i couldn't eat. i lay down and fell asleep. i woke up starving at 3 am and finished the dinner i had made.

so my question is - do i count that as today's or yesterday's calories?i guess today's right?

I usually count it as yesterday's. That way, I can start the day with a clean slate.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter, as long as you have a deficit for the week.

tough one. It's not really all that important where you log it, but that you log it.

if you really can't decide, what about splitting it up, putting 1/2 on one day, and 1/2 on the other.
