I have an Ovarian Cyst that's been very troublesome toward TOM (it swells with the hormones), & VERY painful. I've noticed that the past few months since I've started the C25k program (I'm now up to 25min run week... so ALMOST finished!) that I no longer have as much pain, nor as often... so I'm wondering if working out/losing weight has done something good for my Cyst. Has anyone else experienced this?

Additionally... Have any runners noticed a change in flow at TOM? I'm suddenly SUPER heavy... & it's shorter by a full day. Has this happened for anyone else? I still don't have any cramping or anything (I never have) just a really... heavy... feeling? So I'm not troubled by it, but I just think it's weird.

If you're newly exercising and losing weight, your hormones are being affected, and that could mean changes in your monthly cycle. I don't know if it can help your cyst, but I do know working out is great to alleviate cramps during TOM. If I'm having a particularly painful day, I force myself to get running! A few minutes in and my cramped up tummy is the least of my worries!
