Calorie confused

Ok, I'm confused as to how the calorie thing goes. Which calories am I working towards eating? My goal or the net calories? I hardly ever meet my goal calories and I'm not hungry. For example: today I have 797 calories remaining for my goal and 863 net calories. What do I do? Thanks for your advice in advance.

You should be working toward eating your net calories. MFP has already given you a calorie deficit to lose weight based on the stats you put in when you set your goals. This means you will lose weight even if you dont exercise, so if you do exercise you need to eat those calories to fuel your body,

If you have your diary on public not private people could have a look at it and give you suggestions to increase your calorie intake. Without looking at your diary and based on your post you are eating way too little. You may lose weight initially but it won't be a sustainable way to lose weight. Is this a new lifestyle for you or a crash diet? Make sure it's a way of life you can maintain.

A few tips (again without seeing your diary) don't eat 'low fat' or 'diet' food. It's higher in sugar and sodium and the regular stuff is probably better for you and will keep you feeling fuller for longer. Eat lots of good fats like almonds, avocado, extra virgin olive oil, peanut butter (natural) this will help increase your calories and fuel your body with healthy food.

    Hope this helps! Good luck
