MFP catalog inaccurate?

I was logging my lunch (BLT with lower sodium turkey bacon & light mayo, whole wheat & whole grain bread) and I found exactly what I was looking for in the catalog. It pushed me wayyyy over my sodium intake, even with exercise. So, I went back and broke my lunch down into individual ingredients and logged it like that. Sodium went back to normal. Logging it like that is a pain in the butt, but it seems to be more accurate.

Yes. If I make it at home, I always do individual items, because I can be more specific and correct.0

I think this database was created by its users. Look for the number of confirmations of a food item. Who knows what someone put down for something.0
