I have been doing horrible with my eating since Friday. The weeke.ds I normally use as cheat days, and Saturday was my daughters birthday so I expected to not do that well that day. But yesterday I felt like I just wanted to grab everything unhealthy I could and eat it! Now today I know why, my stupid period. I always have eaten a lot when its around so I don't know what to do! Should I just give in but not go hog wild? And the cramps:( I jjst started JM 30DS and there is no way I can do that with them. To top it all off I feel like the weight I have lost doesnt matter thanks to all this bloating!! I need a pick me up:(

Do some light cardio, eat more protein, drink plenty of water, and don't worry too much about your calorie goal. You do burn more than usual during your period, so if you go a little over it's no big deal. No, don't go hog wild, but if you need some extra energy, have some protein and fat. It will help combat cravings. And it's ok to have a small serving of any unhealthy foods you might be craving. If you crave chocolate, look for dark chocolate instead -- better for you, and it's generally better at satisfying that craving.
You will likely gain some water weight. It's not fat, it's water retention. It happens to most women. I don't weigh during or right before my period because it won't be accurate.0 -
Don't sweat it! No one has ever made great strides without a setback or two. The important thing is you're getting back on the bandwagon. You can do this!0
