Anyone else finding it hard to give up the sweets? I look at my journal and I usually go over. I see if I could just give up those sweets, I would always be under. It feels like an addiction.

I have a huge sweet tooth (and a body to prove it !) but as I said in the other post, Diet coke (and artificial sugars in general) make me crave MORE sweets. When I cut those down, my sugar cravings go wayyy down. I still manage to treat myself and stay under but I think it makes for slower weight loss too.

I find the only way I can curb my sweet tooth is having no chocolate in the cupboards, but making sure I have raisins/currents and low fat jelly in instead. If i really need a chocolate fix I get chocolate or yogurt covered peanuts and portion them out when I buy the packet. Hope that's useful.
