variation on oatmeal
Options
I don't know about others, but I find that one packet of oatmeal just doesn't seem like a lot of food. I have a low calorie way to add more volume to your oatmeal.
Prepare 1 packet of oatmeal or instant oats according to directions. (I use weight control Quaker, 160 calories per packet)
Then add 1 cup puffed millet cereal (60 cals) and incorporate. You may have to add a bit more water to get the consistency you want.
The flavor from the packet mixes with the puffed millet and you can't even tell a difference in the consistency. And you have a low- calorie filling breakfast for only 220 cals.
Hope you enjoy.
