Light cardio work outs?

Hi there! I live in a home with little to no exercise equipment, and so working out is hard, especially because I don't have the funds to go get some either. (holding off till I return to university this fall, where I have free access to a near 24 hour gym!)
I'm also working my first job, and the hours are plenty. It's good and bad. I'm getting money, but I'm losing time...
I'd really like to start exercising more and burning calories and all that, but it's hard when I work a 2pm-10pm shift almost every day, am too tired to wake up until 9am the next morning (or a morning I work at 2), and have to go into work a few hours after I wake up.

What are some good, light cardio work outs that will get the job done to wake me up and slim me down a bit when I wake up before a morning shower, but are simple enough to do without a home gym, and gentle enough to do before 8 hours of work?
