Shoulder "injury" question

To start, yes, I know you're not doctors and I should have myself checked out by someone who is. I'm not seeking medical advice, I seeking advice from people who have been in this situation.

I have no idea what I did to it. I didn't do anything to injure it. I literally woke up one morning about a week and a half ago with pain in my collar bone/shoulder area. At first I thought I'd slept on it wrong, but then the pain didn't go away in a couple days like I thought it would. The discomfort has decreased since, but I'm still unable to do shoulder press, lat raises and front raises without some pain.

When I lift my shoulder toward my ear, I feel it in the middle of my collar bone. Weird, huh.

My question is has anyone ever had anything like this ever happen to them? And, if my pain level is minimal, is it wise to continue strength training as before? I feel discomfort in almost all exercises which require movement or bracing of the shoulder, but only pain in the above mentioned exercises.

Thanks in advance.
