Cramps from water?

I have always loved water and I tend to drink a lot of it. I prefer my water to be cold or icy. The past couple of weeks I have been getting strong, short lived (a few seconds) cramps when I drink water. I thought that maybe the water was too cold, or if I had just eaten something it was due to the change in temperatures, but that isn't it. Any thoughts?

It could be that the water is too cold, or you are drinking it too fast. Happens to me every now and then. If it keeps happening more frequently, it could be something else. Consult with your doctor.0
